About Fr. Jerome Ituah OCD
Fr. Oseagwina Jerome Ituah, OCD, is a Friar of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Vicariate, Nigeria.
He has Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria, and Philosophy from the Dominican Institute of Philosophy (an affiliate institute of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria). He holds a Baccalaureate degree in Sacred Theology from Tangaza College (an affiliate institute of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya) and a Licentiate Degree in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome.
He is currently running a doctoral degree program in St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, London. His research interest is on Psychological Biblical Criticism, and his research title is “The Desperation of Elijah (1 Kgs 19): A Model for Resolving Traumatic and Post-Traumatic Problems”.
